BIO:

Michael (Mike) Jones is a Chattanooga native and is one of four adopted children. He graduated high school from C.S.A.S. in 2010 before attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he received a B.A. in Political Science, Pre-Law.


Michael graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in May of 2018 where he also received a certificate-concentration in Criminal Law. While in law school, Michael participated in the Ole Miss Law Street Law Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic assisting indigent clients with various family law, bankruptcy, social security and criminal appeals matters. During the summer after his second year of law school, Michael received a limited practice license while interning with the Nashville District Attorney’s office assisting prosecutors arguing in bench trials, jury trials and at various hearings.


Michael is a senior associate attorney at Luther-Anderson, PLLP where he has been practicing since graduating from law school. Michael focuses his practice in the area of construction litigation, professional liability, real estate litigation, premises liability, automobile and motor carrier accidents, personal injury, workers’ compensation, general liability defense, and insurance coverage issues. Michael has always believed in protecting the rights of the criminally accused and helping those who have been charged or convicted transition back into society by assisting clients with expungements.


Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending his time with his wife and fellow Luther-Anderson associate, Chloe, traveling, and cheering on Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball.

Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, Michael participated in the Ole Miss Law Street Law Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic assisting indigent clients with various family law, bankruptcy, social security and criminal appeals matters. During the summer after his second year of law school, Michael received a limited practice license while interning with the Nashville District Attorney’s office assisting prosecutors arguing in bench trials, jury trials and at various hearings.


Michael is currently a Partner at Luther-Anderson, PLLP where he has been practicing since graduating from law school. Michael focuses his practice in the area of construction litigation, professional liability, real estate litigation, premises liability, automobile and motor carrier accidents, general and tort liability defense, insurance coverage issues, and workers’ compensation. Michael provides his clients with practical insight and vigorous advocacy. He has obtained successful results for his clients at trial, by dispositive motion, and settlement.


Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending his free time with his family, wife and fellow Luther-Anderson attorney, Chloe, going to concerts, traveling and watching Tennessee Volunteers football, basketball, and baseball.
