BIO:
Dan grew up in the small town of Murphy, North Carolina. From there he went to the University of Notre Dame getting a degree in English and government. He then went to the University of Tennessee where he graduated with a law degree in 1992. Upon graduation Dan found work with the predecessor firm of Luther-Anderson, PLLP working as a civil attorney for insurance matters. While he enjoyed that work then and still enjoys it now, Dan always felt that there was more to the practice of law than simply working for institutional clients. He found he was correct when he started handling criminal matters for real people. Nothing compares to the feeling of helping someone charged with a crime get a successful resolution to their case.
